I use http://www.orieldesign.com.au to do all my promotional print work. They offer wholesale rates, and it is ALL printed in their factory in Melbourne, Australia. So you don’t have to worry about minimum order size or anything like that.

Question by Chris: Suggestions on “product photography” books or other tips? I am looking for information for an ABSOLUTE beginner on product photography to develop a direct mail print catalog. Preferably book recommendations on the topic and/or tips from professionals on lighting, tools/props needed.

Answer by screwdriverFlat shadowless lighting against a white background is usually best for products shots for catalogues. This makes it easy to select objects when you come to compile the images for a catalogue.
